Welcome to this week's issue -- Playroom Planning! As baby grows, as does their toy collection, we seek to reclaim our living space and plan for a playroom or special area in our home for baby and all their treasures. We hope you will find these items to be great accompaniments as you plan for baby's playroom.
Storage solutions are the top of my list for planning Emma's playroom. Keeping toys accessible so your little ones can find and play with them yet keep a room looking tidy is key. We've found a great one! Primary Storage Palooza, from www.landofnod.com, is not only practical but really attractive for your decor. Offered in neutral and primary colors, you will certainly be able to make this work in any room. Plus, since they are low to the ground, toys can be played with on the top as well. Don't hesitate if you like these - they are on sale and available in limited quantities!
A playroom wouldn't be complete without an activity table. The Espresso Activity Table & Carts from www.potterybarnkids.com is a great idea. The spacious tabletop sits low to the ground and features molding around the edge to secure toys being played with. Tucked underneath are two wooden carts on casters with chalkboard labels that are great for additional toy storage. This is one table that is sure to get years of use!
Every little Picasso needs an art easel for their playroom! Easel Does It, also from www.landofnod.com, is free-standing, has a chalkboard on one side and a white laminated board and paper roll on the other. The chalkboard features old-fashioned alphabet art and the trays on each side allow for convenient storage of chalk, erasers and paint cups. Your little one's masterpieces are just waiting to be made on this lovely wooden art easel.
A wonderful finishing touch to your play area is this adorable My ABC Animals Educational Cloth Wall Hanging from www.cdkenterprises.com. The soft sculpture wall hanging comes with beautifully embroidered &/or printed cloth pieces with animal finger puppets that fit into each letter's pocket. Recite the alphabet while you have a puppet show! What could be more fun than that?
We hope we've inspired you with some great ideas this week for your playroom planning. We look forward to bringing you next week's issue -- Happy Thanksgiving! Have a great week everyone!
